The devastation that natural disasters cause is all too familiar for the world. Everywhere, the weather and environmental conditions affect our lives. Icy roads and slick roadways lead to more traffic accidents than we can count. Volcanoes flood homes molten hot lava. Earthquakes are one of the worst, though. With no warning, the ground starts shaking beneath your feet. At least hurricanes give us some warning.
The earthquake in Haiti was a ground shattering quake, stronger than most people have ever seen.The death toll could be close to 200,000 people by the end of this nightmare, and more than 400,000 people need to be relocated. The devastation is unimaginable.
We have 100 Americans lost there right now, including four students and two professors from Boca’s Lynn University. Families have been ripped apart and it’s just not fair.
