The most expensive sale in Palm Beach was in 2008 when Donald Trump sold 515 North County Road. This is not the only extravagant Palm Beach property sold in the past four years.
1236 South Ocean Blvd sold for $77,500,000 in April of 2008 and 60 Blossom Way sold for $68,500,000 in June of 2008.
In examining the homes, we find that 1236 South Ocean sold for $2,398 per square foot and 60 Blossom Way sold for $2,236 per square foot. Both homes were just above 30,000 square feet. Trump’s 515 North County Road was over 80,000 total square feet and only pulled in $1,162 per square foot.
1200 South Ocean Blvd at just over 11,000 square feet sold for $24,000,000 in December of 2009. This home sold for $2,034 per square foot. 101 Via Los Incas at approximately 8,500 square feet sold for $17,000,000 and pulled in $1,964 per square foot. At just under 6,000 square feet, 703 Island Drive sold for $15,000,000 – for $2,577 a square foot!
Condos are pulling in similar numbers with a sale at Il Lugano for $12,105,500 in May of 2008 – which was $2,062 per square foot. Penthouse 1003 at the Palm Beach Biltmore sold for $8,900,000 in May of 2007 which was $1,978 per square foot. 2 Breakers Row PH1 sold for $7,200,000 in December 2009 for $2,077 per square foot.
